• A finalist and laureate in the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1990, Marko Ylönen was the winner of the first prize in the Concert Artist Guild Competition in New York in 1996. In demand as a soloist and chamber musician in Finland and other European countries, in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and America, he is regularly invited to appear with all the major Finnish orchestras and abroad with such leading ensembles as the Camerata Salzburg, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Prague Chamber Orchestra and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. He has also played chamber music with many of the world's most celebrated musicians at many music festivals.
• Arto Satukangas first aroused public attention in 1979, on winning the prestigious Maj Lind Piano Competition in Helsinki when he was only 17. Eight years later he made his debut in Paris at a concert arranged by the Herbert von Karajan Foundation and in 1991-1992 toured Japan, taking in the Casals Hall in Tokyo. This was followed in 1994 by his first appearance in the United States, at the Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall. On his highly-acclaimed return to New York in 2008 he became a Steinway Artist. He has also appeared in most parts of Europe and in China, Korea and Israel. In 2003 he played in the Steinway 150 Years Anniversary concert in Helsinki. He has worked with many celebrated conductors and with ensembles at the major Finnish music festivals. His regular partnership with Marko Ylönen began many years ago
